Kerauno, LLC is seeking a driven and dynamic Senior Instructional Designer to develop and deliver world class training programs to a growing network of customers and partners for the effective deployment and adoption of the Kerauno product. This role will establish the first formal product training & education function at Kerauno and will have a tremendous amount of influence on the direction and success of Kerauno’s relationships with global telecommunications partners.

The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set with experience in curriculum development, instructional design, classroom training facilitation, and a deep background in the telecommunications industry. They must be a self-starter, a linear thinker, both detail-oriented and strategic, possess an executive presence and superior organizational and communication skills. Success is defined by the quality of the curriculum, its fitness for the business needs of Kerauno partners and customers, their satisfaction with the training experience, and measurable improvements in their effectiveness as a result of the training program.



  • Work with internal Kerauno teams and external partner teams, to identify and prioritize needs for an ever-expanding product training program.

  • Develop subject matter expertise by learning the capabilities, functionality, and business value for each of the products in the Kerauno product suite.

  • Lean on existing subject matter experts within the company and across the industry for capabilities and best practices.

  • Use existing knowledge base content and other raw material to develop training curriculum.

  • Develop curriculum tailored to certain user personas, like business users, system administrators, implementers / installers, and even 3rd party consultants.

  • Organize all curriculum material into specifically designed learning paths, introducing each learner to foundational concepts first, then building on those concepts in a thoughtful sequence.

  • Collaborate with the partner services team to design training delivery processes, and develop materials using the best fit media for each component of the learning experience.

  • Lead the evaluation, selection and implementation of any training or learning management systems that may be needed to support Kerauno’s training programs.

  • As needed, tailor portions of the training curriculum for certain high value partners or customers to deliver personalized training packages.

  • Deliver virtual, recorded, or in-person training sessions to audiences ranging from a few, to many dozens of participants.

  • Occasionally travel to partner and customer locations to collaborate on the design and preparation of training packages, and to deliver in-person training sessions.

  • Serve as an advocate and an evangelist for Kerauno’s product education programs, working with internal and partner teams to promote them across the partner and customer ecosystem.


  • 4-year degree or commensurate experience; Certificates in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Product Management or related disciplines a plus

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience with increasing levels of responsibility participating in and leading SaaS or telecom training & education programs

  • 5+ years experience in instructional design, curriculum development, virtual and/or classroom style training environments

  • Demonstrated experience in, or leading training & education programs for, a Fortune 1000 organization utilizing best practices and success metrics

  • Expert capability with one or more learning management systems and commonly used training material development tools

  • Demonstrated experience in professional, high-tech company environments and familiarity with SaaS business models

  • Demonstrated critical thinking and organizational skills, listening, verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, comfort with C-suite colleagues, customers and partners

  • Detail oriented, results oriented, and obsessed with measurement and continuous improvement

  • Passionate advocate for the end customer and channel partner experience
